Gratitude is the quality of being thankful. It’s a feeling, but one that sometimes doesn’t come as easily as others.
Gratitude doesn’t come to us naturally, as much as we wish it would. It requires a conscientious choice each day. It is choosing to focus on the bright side of things, the silver lining, or the greener grass, especially when it feels impossible to do so.
In our world, which has been through more changes and adjustments in the past 2 years than many of us have seen in our lifetimes, it sometimes feels harder than ever to focus on what we do have, rather than what we don’t have.
