October 2024┃Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Many of us have been touched by cancer in some way, whether personally or through a loved one, and it’s a reminder of how precious and fragile our health can be.

A few years ago, I had my own experience with breast cancer. Today, I’m thankful for my health and the opportunity to share this important message with you.

This journey taught me so much about the incredible importance of early detection. Early-stage breast cancer often shows no symptoms, and I was fortunate that mine was caught early thanks to regular screenings. It’s something that saved my life, and I want to encourage each of you to prioritize your health the same way.

Here are some steps that can help:

• Know your risk: Family history and genetics play a role, but lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise also influence your risk.
• Get screened: Regular mammograms are one of the most effective ways to catch breast cancer early.
• Stay informed: Awareness and education can make a world of difference—not only for ourselves but for our loved ones, too.

While this may not be directly tied to your financial plan, good health is the foundation of every aspect of life, including your ability to achieve your financial goals. So, we encourage you to take a moment this month to remind yourself and your loved ones about the importance of early detection and prioritizing health.Health is everything.
