Key Provisions of the Secure ACT 2.0
We are one year into SECURE Act 2.0 (Act or 2.0), passed at the end of December 2022, and the opportunities and confusion continues.
With more than 90 provisions that are being phased in over the next 10 years, It’s important to review the newly effective provisions at the beginning of each year.
Here’s a quick summary of key provisions
Reminder of required beginning date (RBD) ages:

RBD is age 73 if born 1951–1959

RBD is age 72 (or 70½) if born 1950 or earlier
