Hank Cleare, CFP® Nominated to Alzheimer’s Board of Directors

Hank Cleare, CFP® of Financial Strategies Group in Weston, Florida is pleased to announce his nomination to the Board of Directors for The Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter. Hank will be serving alongside chapter CEO Ann May.

 

May says, “We are thrilled to have Hank join the Association as a new Board Member.  He has a passion for this cause and has already shared some wonderful ideas that we are sure will help enhance awareness about the Association and how we service our community.”

 

Alzheimer’s and dementia have touched Hank’s life directly; Hank’s grandmother was stricken with this debilitating disease, and Hank learned firsthand the emotional and financial impact it can have on a family.  Hank’s wife and business partner, Kimberly DeProspero, worked side-by-side with her father Bob DeProspero at the time Bob was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2003 at age 66. He subsequently passed away in 2011 at age 74 from this disease.

 

Financial Strategies Group has adopted the Alzheimer’s cause wholeheartedly.   As a third generation financial counselling firm, it’s their company mission to always be giving more than just investment advice.  They go beyond providing relevant financial commentary, strategies, and planning tips; they offer time, resources and support to people who are doing things to enhance their well-being and the lives of others around them.
